Re-formatted CPU & my daddy

Sent my home desktop CPU for repair last Sunday after being down for quite sometimes... Software problems... When I collected it yesterday, was quite sad actually when all the data's had been erased... I was hoping that they could do something else rather than re-formatted the whole hard disk... but I know it couldn't be help anyway... Lost few hundred photographs... Luckily some were stored in my photobucket account... I couldn't save some as the usb drives were out of order before the repair... but good thing the PC is now working perfectly, so I can start surfing at home again...

Just pondering if only we could pay $30 to erase some bad memories that we have... Wouldn't life be better... hmmm... but again not all bad memories are bad in a way... anyway....

Dad is so cute, he read the newspaper and told me... "Hei... Why don't you take up this course?"... referring to the advertisement... Dad always encourages me to take up extra courses like those "being housing agent" courses, etc... so naturally I was thinking... not again (I don't have interest in being an agent you see...) So I asked him what course???... He replied, "By paying $250, you can learn how to build and maintain a blog... and it was for two persons... isn't it good?"... I replied him, "Dad, you give me the money, I can guide you plus two other people, how to do blog and maintain it too".... hehehe... Then he goes... "Ohhh, you know how to blog, why not you set up a blog for my business"... I was "blank"... huhhh... very busy lei... ***run off after that...hehehe

I think my Daddy read more books than me and we sometimes jokes that it seems that he is going to sit for an exam any time soon...hehehe...;)

Rino announced after class yesterday that he read my blog… I think he meant it as a joke cos’ he didn’t even know my name… not until Justin told him… but again how do he know that I blog in the first place hor?... Maybe it’s linked to some other instructor blog like Jacelyn or perhaps it’s thru’ Justin’s blog or anyone from Cali… Well, good thing is that I never say anything bad about him here, not that there is anyway… So far he has been quite a consistent and “steady” combat instructor bahh… ***wink at Rino if he’s reading this… whahaha…;p

  My little pressie from Ian

Went to meet Ian with LingLing after our class in Bugis… We went to Orchard DFSGreat Singapore Sales there too… and sweet sweet Ian bought me a Bally’s purse… Quite nice and I like…;)… Anyway I like presents no matter what and no matter when loh… whahaha…;p

We went for out diner at Far EastMoGu MoGu… It’s a Japanese inspired restaurant where you placed your orders through a self-ordered-computerized machine… I think it is quite popular in Japan, I heard lah (since I’ve not been there yet…) the foods were quite okie and the portion do fill me up since me and Ling were quite hungry… Ling mentioned that she could even eat a cow then… whahaha… ;p

P/s : I will be wearing my new adidas red singlet for combat tonight…wohoo…hehehe…;)

Do You know this???...

Got this in my mailbox from a friend...and think it is good to share with U guys...
Actually I don't even know too...;)

What side of your car is your gas tank?

If you are anything like me, you probably can't remember right away. My solution is to uncomfortably stick my head out the window, strain my neck and look. If you don't do this in your own car you definitely have done it in a borrowed or rental car.

Well ladies and gentlemen, I'm going to share with you my little secret so you will no longer look like Ace Ventura on your way to the gas station or put your neck at risk of uncomforting or injury.
If you look at your gas gauges, you will see a small icon of a gas pump. The handle of the gas pump will extend out on either the left or right side of the pump.

If your tank is on the left, the handle will be on the left. If your tank is on the right, the handle will be on the right (see photo). It is that simple! I don't know how you feel right now but when I found out this morning I felt cheated! Why don't the dealers share such important information with car buyers?

I don't understand why this isn't in the driver manual? I don't get why any mechanic I have ever been too or know has even thought of mentioning this to me? The only possible explanation can be that all these people probably don't even know! Go out and share the worlds best kept auto secret with your friends as this is information is way too important to be kept secret.

I'm very piss with my project team mates now... Let me vent a little anger here okie...

The story goes here....
We have to form a project group of min 5 people max 6 people for our final project for my Specialist Diploma course. There were these 2 "A's-distinction" girls who wished to join my group... My group now have 4 members... Why I called them "A's" is simply because they always scored "A's" for projects and both are good presenters during our previous few projects... Then these group members of mine start replying mails telling me to tell them that "we"(as in "them"-my group mates) only want to scrap through the project and not to emphasized on results... What the "SHIT" is this?... One even said that we won't want to spend time or take leave for this project... Selfish, right???...

Who would want to join us, right?... Utterly disappointed with them...

Now that they scare away these two girls, let's see if any "bo-chap" people in my class want to join us...

Feeling so screwed right now... Shit them!!!....

Short Break - ConraD Service...;)

Suntan?
Weekends was great...further more it's long weekends, adding in the "Vesak day" holiday... Checked in The Conrad Hotel with Ian on Saturday, 17th May... The Cetennial Suite Room was just GREAT... Service wise I was quite impressed with Conrad service... quite tip-top... Even at the pool... I was served a glass of "cold-iced water" even without asking for it... and further more, they served cut fruits to us while we were sun-bathing at the pool side... How cool was that... nice right?...

Ian even received the "VIP" treatment when he checked in... They brought him to an executive lounge, asked him to sit comfortably on the sofa, served him fruits juice and processed the check in for him while he sat there... I miss this as I checked in much later... Urghhh....

What I love about the hotel room was the view that overlooked "The Fountain of Wealth" at Suntec City... I kept looking at it but never strike 4D's lei... In fact our room numbers just miss by a digit that day... hmmm... Yeah, didn't I say that the bed was so comfortable... Very shiok lei... The moment I lie, I felt like floating to "lala land" liau... nice...

Invited AhFoo, Zainon and Guna over on Sunday to celebrate AhFoo birthday... He was pleasantly surprised that we bought a gift and cake for him... Happie Birthday AhFoo... ; )

2 Hours combat
by Rino & Roger on Monday was a blast... Some of us planned few classes in advance just to reserve a good spot for this class... This "R&R" combination was sure to pull in those combat-crowds... I enjoyed the space (my favourite spot), the crowds and the workout from it... Just nice to burn some "fats" away... hehehe...;)

I'm Fat...Urghhh....

Let's drink
Just finish my examination yesterday and thanks to my boss for approving my 3 days unrecorded leave... Exam was okie... Feeling kind of strange now... Suddenly I'm quite free... Spent sooo much time reading and squeezing all my brain juices in memorising and understand facts... Thank Goodness it's over and thanks to Ian that he has something nice install this weekends for my little breaks... yeah...

Was busy studying but that didn't stop me from eating and eating and eating... Yappp, ate a lot and Amos and Ian commented that I put on weights... Urghhh... ***sob ***sob... Time to head gym for intensive weight reducing regime... As if it makes any different to me... Well, at least it helps "bluffing myself"...hehehe...

The past week, I ate 2 times at Seoul Garden buffet... Once with my family members at Causeway Point Woodland for my brother birthday celebration and another with my regular "makan kakis" - [info]centennial_05 , [info]deathstix, [info]one766 and Ian at Seoul Garden Bugis Junction... Buffet spread at Bugis is much better than at Causeway Point... More varieties... Perhaps it was weekends that made the different... Different in prices... Anyway, Seoul Garden spreads has improved quite a bit compared to my last visit some time back...

Sunday after gym, went dinner with Zainon, AhFoo and Ian at Swenson Orchard... Eat again!!!... We had quite a good deal for the "Mother's Day" package for 4 persons... Quite worth it... We paid about $20 plus each that got us one main course (any choice-including the steaks that cost about $20/-), soup of the day, and Ice-creams... Yummy yummy... Got scolding from mummy when I got home cos' they are waiting for me for dinner... and lots and lots of pizza's was on the table... Felt kind of guilty, not celebrating Mummy Day fully with her at home... What a "Bad boi" I am... hehe...

Time for more gym... jia you!!!....

Guess who is hitting the drum...;)

Hmmm, I'm attracted to this online gaming website www.viwawa.com Ian told me about this website and when I was at his place that day, we started playing it and I can't stop... So fun... Honestly, I'm not a "gamer" (Is that what they call those people who play game online?...hmmm) ... In actual fact, I got headache playing computer games... Anyway, this viwawa website soooo cute... I even have a profile with wawa (doll) that I can dress them up for profile picture... Fun fun... but hacks, they need some $$$ credits that you own from playing the online games to buy nicer clothing... I have none... $0.00, how sad... I can only choose those free items... but it still fun...

For my first time in the memory game, where you match 2 same pictures, I did quite OK... There is this one silly girl, who warns me that if I win, she would kick me off the game... and hell... I conquered the whole 9x9 blocks leaving ZERO for her...and yes!!!, she did kick me out from the game and refuse to play with me again... How childish can she be... haha...;)

I haven't start playing using my nick yet... Hei!!! Those of you here, who play this viwawa, add me lei... we can play together... Should be fun lei...;)

Roy_az viwawa... cute bahhh...           Ian1973 viwawa - I help him dress up too...

gerchea - Kelly viwawa                                  emosu - One766 viwawa

Farewell Razzalie & Labour Day...

  • May. 2nd, 2008 at 1:38 PM
Roy Red
Yet another good colleague and I can say good friend left the company... 3 so far in this few months... Razzalie joined us two years ago and was posted to my department and was assigned the seat next to mine... so naturally we discussed works, gossips (guys do gossip too...haha), play and "tua'ing" together... He's such capable and helpful guy... In fact some of the arrows were shared between us most of the time... So now, our branch is missing one critical target board... Oh no... Smell trouble... I should build higher walls... hmmm.... Anyway, he's joining M.O.M. and was promoted to division 2... Perhaps my "EMPLOYER" should do something about our unattractive system bahhh... well... Best of lucks Razzalie...;)

Was rushing for Labour Day 2hrs combat by Liyi, KC and JD and happily driving along SLE at more than 100km/h, until I reached CTE, near AMK... jammed... w.t.f...  Crawling my way to Ochard Cali and I was late for 2 minutes... The class had already started and hell, super crowded that I can't think of anywhere that I can slot in... so I just loitered outside the class... XIANzzz, shouldn't have overslept... Urghhh... My sis who came with me however, "bochap" and managed to slip in, into one spot near AhFoo & LingLing... Urghhh... I even saw Jace going in eventhough she is much later than me... Urghhh...

Managed to get in about an hour later... Better late than never loh... The class is HOT & Very Smelly... Imagine SWEATssss... Yuckssss....

To compensate for the lost time, I did BodyPump, Steptacular and another combat after that class... 4 hours of cardio classes...hehehe... Was super duper tired after the last class....but at least I managed to consoled my mind that i burnt the 03 x chocolates (I ate Lingling & Eunice shares too...haha)...given to us by Daniel before his Steptacular class... hehehe...;)

So I did work hard on Labourer Day too bahhh...;)

Half way through my 2 weeks In-camp training... Passed my IPPT test last Tuesday and feel sooo good that I don't have to worry for at least the next one year... yeah... In Camp training this year is quite okie... Not much hassle, everything went smoothly... hopefully it will be so the next one week too...

Presented one of my assignment and left one more to go...

Miss one week of gym classes and was back today for June's combat... It was fun as there were so many regular faces... Nice work out... Wanna try Zumba, but Foo and blurblur don't want... so I backoff too...hehehe...Will be off this Monday and Tuesday but before that, I will be on sentry duty this Sunday night... The thought of going back camp on Sunday sucks... but at least I have something to look forward to...

Cheers to anyone who miss me here... hahaha, like real hor... hehe...;p

Feeling very lousy... I'm SICK...not again... Kena food-poisoning... damned that "Sup Tulang".... Been down since Wednesday... Oh no...it's Friday and I gonna miss all the weekends gym classes if I still down...sad sad... and I have two projects on the line to be submit soon... Can't afford to fall sick... Urghhh...

Reservist is a week away... That's mean IPPT is coming too... Guess I don't have to lose so much weight since this "food poisoning" has taken some weights off me... How I wish hor... "_" Urghhh... Feeling sooo tired now... Should I go home and rest or should I go out... Feel so wasted to be home early on Friday night hor...

On the side note - Two of my colleague will be moving out soon... One resigned and another transferred to a different ministry... Sooo sad... I'm not sure to be happy or sad... They are such good friends... Perhaps I should be happy for them as they found a much greener options... Deep in me know that sooner or later it gonna be my turn... Well... God know when... and I will reveal when it comes... ; )

Suntan?
After soooo long I have not been away for holiday, I got the chance when Zai, Guna, AhFoo and Louis(BlurBlur) agreed to join me in exploring Sunway Lagoon (Malaysia)... This short trip was filled with sooo much fun... We ate a lot, shop a lot and even got a chance to do gym classes... Yah talking about gym classes, Malaysia California fitness had launch the new combat release earlier than us lei... I sampled some of the newest track, as the instructor (Jamie) said that some of them must have been sick of the newest release liao... Huh... so it was way before us loh... Thinking of Singapore being so advance...Urghhh... ;(

The Great Company with me... Guna, Zai, AhFoo and Louis

Hmmm, the thing that I only miss doing is not getting into the pool... The pool look so inviting, with jacuzzi at the side, water fountains/features... Tell myself that I must return... and yes I tried their "roller-coaster"... Although not as high as those in Korea / Japan / etc... It was still damn scary loh... My heart thumping so hard that I can't even scream out loud... Hahaha, now you know I fear height... hahahaha...

Overall, it was a nice break... Looking forward for more... yeah...;)

Waiting for my Combat class before I rush back to the hotel for my check out... Going back Singapore by 3pm today... hmmm, mix feeling... I love holiday and I don't want it to end sooo soon...hiaz... Did OneStepUp today here with [info]centennial_05 Not that difficult though... kind more of the Basic Step... Perhaps there were only 5 of us in the class so most likely the instructor don't want to trouble himself I guess... but anyway, it was a good workout.. after being absent from gym for about 3 days... hmmm.... Zainon going to join us for cambat too... Going to ummphh and uuuhhh... yeah... ;)

Sooo HAPPY... bought so many things, gym wear and foods...etc...

IT Fair & Shokudo

  • Mar. 10th, 2008 at 3:20 PM
Roy Red

As I was on half day last Friday and sis was on medical leave, she fetch me at work and we head down town for IT fair (Suntec City)... I was hoping to get a good deal for digital camera... Wasn't expecting much crowd as we reached there around 3+pm but I was sooo wrong... First, couldn't get any parking lot nearby, Suntec City - Parking Full, Marina Square - Parking Full, Millennia - Parking Full... Urghhh... Don't all this people have to work?... Oh okie... perhaps they are on leave & MC's like we did lor... hehe... End up parking at Raffles City.

As quite expected, ended not buying anything... I just dislike the idea of squeezing through the crowd and being stop by sooo many sales staff... I think they have too many sales staff compared to the booth... Ughhh...

We ended up having our early dinner at Shokudo in the new extension of Raffles City basement... It was like "Marche" restaurant... Food bazaar that focuses mostly on Japanese foods... I sighted "kimchi" though... Price wise quite reasonable... as for the taste of the foods, I leave for you guys to try it loh... Hmmm, hearing some friends here grumbling, "When is the next 'makan' session huh!!!..."... hehehe...;p

This restaurant is quite cozy... and very good place for "photo-session"... Any "cam-whore" here?....hehe...;p

I had this...but not sure why it is called "Japanese Burger"... Very big portion -> worth the $$$...hehehe...;p

Who like "Hot-dog"???... Can have this...;p

SEE...How happy my Sis is when she see foods...hohohoho...;p

Side note -> I saw Jacelyn doing sit-up during last Saturday Bodycombat conditioning track & I must declared now...
"I love chocolate"...yeah!!!.... Such nice abs... yum yum... Why chocolate?... figure that out...hehe...;p

Hmmm, I'm quite surprise that many friends here actually understand Malay... Thanks for the concern over the last entry... Those sms & comments you guys sent, means something to me... At least I still have some friends who still care... even when they don't know anything of what I'm trying to say... haha... BUT I'm seriously okie...; )

OOoooo... NYP is taking soooo long with the examination results... Told us to access the system... but hell... cannot get in... Wrong user login... wrong password... What's going on?... Urghhh... Give them few more days, see how...

Yesss, my tutorial group finally got the "Lecturer" as our tutor... Now then fair mahhhh... How can they gave the "Lecture... lecturer" to Team 1 always... not fair mahhh… haha...; ) .... Another two projects to complete and due next month... Not so bad, I still can take it... Just have to miss a couple of Saturday gym classes lor... xianz...

Received a job offer from a friend... Totally different job but lower starting pays lei... Actually I'm interested in this line... Should I move on or not?... hmmm...

Can't wait for my Sunway trip this 14 March to 16 March... Anyone going there around this time... Find me there okie... hehe...; )
